Detailing is about giving attention to all areas of a vehicle including the details that are commonly overlooked and neglected. In addition, responsible detailing means using products, tools, and procedures that are as gentle as possible in order to preserve the vehicle in its best condition for as long as possible. A car wash like the one found at your local gas station has one objective: to knock off the visible layer of dirt on a car so that it looks shiny again, and doing so as quickly as possible in order to achieve high volume sales. Consequently, they use harsh chemicals that can be damaging to your vehicle over time, and rotary scrubbers that scratch or “swirl” up your paint. Even most hand wash facilities do not use proper washing & drying techniques and do more harm than good.
Multiple factors, such as vehicle use, condition, size, and desired results contribute to the amount of time required to complete a detail. We are committed to delivering only the highest results for our clients, which means taking the time to give proper attention to every detail. This can vary depending on several factors–is it driven daily or just on the weekends? Do you drive it all year round? Is it parked outside or in a garage? Is it a family car? Do you eat in your car? At the bare minimum, we recommend that you never go longer than 6 months between full details, or come in for a maintenance detail once every 2-3 months. Take advantage of our maintenance wash membership to not only keep your vehicle looking its best, but also receive 15% discounts on additional services.
Many new vehicles come from the factory with uncorrected sanding and/or polishing marks–even from high-end brands. Then, in the journey from factory to dealership they are subjected to environmental contaminants which can get embedded in the clear coat. They are often then subjected to improper washing at the dealership and may sit in the parking lot for weeks or longer being further exposed to the elements before they are purchased. A proper exterior detail and paint correction will remove any contaminants and give you the defect free finish you expect from a new purchase. This is the most ideal time to protect your vehicle with a ceramic coating before it has seen any wear and tear. Similarly, protecting the leather and fabric of your interior before it has a chance to be worn and soiled ensures that it will stay like new for as long as possible.
We kindly ask that you remove any loose items from your vehicle before your appointment in order to make the process as efficient as possible and prevent any items from possibly being misplaced.
